Teaching
- Teacher training workshops – to train teachers in Islamic schools and those teaching social studies in K-12, to equip them with appropriate pedagogical tools and instructional materials in order to enrich their educational outcomes
- Course and curriculum development for Shenandoah University faculty – to help Shenandoah University faculty develop new courses in the areas of contemporary Islam and interfaith studies, or to enrich already existing courses with content in these areas
- Offering courses on contemporary Islam at Shenandoah University – CICW academic staff teach courses related to contemporary Islam and interfaith engagement at Shenandoah University
- Student programs – to provide instructions in Islamic and interfaith studies to selected students from Shenandoah University and other universities and colleges in the US and Canada, and taught by leading scholars in their fields of expertise
