The Center Announces the Passing of Our Beloved Founder and President Dr. M Yaqub Mirza

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Dr. M. Yaqub Mirza, Founder and President of the Center for Islam in the Contemporary World at Shenandoah University.
Dr. Mirza leaves behind a legacy defined by wisdom, generosity, and an unwavering belief in the power of service. We celebrate a life lived with purpose and love, and we hold close the lessons Dr. Mirza left behind. He will be profoundly missed.
