This multi-year project, offered in collaboration with the Center for Advanced Studies in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, consists of a series of essays and resources on critical issues related to Islam in the contemporary world—the Big Questions. Each essay is authored by an expert in the field and accompanied by a list of readings and other resources to help readers better understand that particular topic.
Today, resources are abundant on several important topics related to Islam. Yet, even an informed reader may struggle to find the right place to begin their quest to address such issues. We see these essays and resources as a starting point: a carefully crafted essay that introduces the topic to the reader, guides them through the available literature, addresses important issues related to the topic, and offers a list of further readings and resources for continuous learning. They can serve as introductory materials for personal growth and as reading resources in higher education.
